We just picked up our baby stroller. Unlike the car seat (which is US made), this one is made right here in Tilburg, The Netherlands. The other day, I wrote a little bit about the warning labels on that car seat. This stroller has one: "Warning: You are responsible for the safety of your child". I cannot agree more. Do we really need anything else?

You are right, of course. However, the fact that you have something doesn't mean that you should use it :-) Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more "no cure no pay" lawyers popping up. If I remember correctly though, the Dutch Law Board is currently deciding whether or not this is fair practice. On the one hand, it gives lawyers a good incentive to really go for it when they take on a case.
On the other hand, it might also lead to an explosion of cases in which they hope that a small percentage will be successful. I do not really know what to think. For the time being, I lean towards a system when lawyers get paid to to their job properly, without any additional bonuses when they win a case. Until proven otherwise, I tend to believe in the system where the Bar enforces good practice.-----

To be fair, I doubt the Netherlands has nearly as many personal injury lawyers per capita as the US.-----
